Congratulations to Jennifer Lopez Kouchis, CGO at ORNL Federal Credit Union, for becoming CGO of the Month!
This is a new dual role, Chief Strategy and Chief Growth Officer, in the $3.65 billion organization.
"Kouchis will lead ORNL FCU’s largest growth-driving areas, including lending, marketing, and data analytics.
She will also oversee 7 LLC, ORNL FCU’s credit union service organization, which includes 7 Servicing, 7 Title, 7 Mortgage, and 7 Insurance. With combined oversight, this brings all of these operational areas under one unified strategic line, a news release said.
Kouchis comes to ORNL FCU from VyStar Credit Union in Jacksonville, Florida, where she was chief credit officer and head of Mortgage Banking.
With over 20 years in the financial industry, Kouchis’ career has included management of service organizations, lending, technology, sales, secondary marketing, and product delivery.
Her cross-functional management and leadership experience will be beneficial in spearheading ORNL FCU’s growth in East Tennessee.
Prior to VyStar, she worked at BBVA Compass, NVR Mortgage, and Navy Federal Credit Union.
Kouchis attended the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin and the Columbus College of Art & Design in Columbus, Ohio.
A Certified Mortgage Banker through the Mortgage Bankers Association, Kouchis currently serves on the TransUnion Mortgage Advisory Board and the National POW/MIA Memorial & Museum Board."
